A nice delicious sweet treat, made of fresh ingredients like a different variety of nuts, and different kinds of chocolate. When you walk inside you can see the chocolatiers working hard, making everything by hand, as well as decorating beautifully. Each piece is a creation of art. I recommend the gourmet items for events like a birthday, or anniversary, gender reveal or wedding gift. I recommend the marzipan truffles, they are my favorite.
Mocha Mambo at Something’s Brewing was amazing! The mix of chocolate, hazelnut, and caramel mocha, topped with whipped cream and a drizzle of chocolate and caramel sauce, was just perfect. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by a tempting display of treats—muffins, cheesecakes, fudge—you name it. The place had plenty of seating, and the staff was super friendly. They had some great music playing too, which made the vibe even better. If you’re looking for a spot with delicious drinks and a laid-back atmosphere, this is definitely the place to be!
Yum. A group of us went to visit. It was a bit crowded. It seats about 20 people. Delicious chocolates, bakery items, sandwiches, and coffees. Portions were large, and we all took some home. Lots of food item gifts for sale if you are shopping for that difficult relative.
Very cool coffee shop, so many options and great selection of gifts too! Delicious subs, coffee and cookies and nice outdoor seating area. My only complaint is the paper cups and disposable food boxes - if you’re eating in it would be so much nicer and better for the environment to use mugs and real plates
This place was such a treat to visit!! They offer a mouthwatering array of desserts to delicious coffee and food. They have local items and a wide selection of teas as well! Was happy to see that. They offer indoor and a small outdoor seating. And the ambiance is as sweet as their treats. Highly recommend for anyone craving a delicious escape!
Amazing coffee shop/sweet shop. Excellent food (order at the counter, called when it's ready with a buzzer). Great place to meet up and talk with friends without feeling rushed. Ridiculous amount of sweets, ranging from cookies, cake and pie slices, to homemade flavored marshmallows.
This place was such a gem of a find! As soon as I walked in, I saw these ginormous muffins and pastries — the kind of big sizes I love. It honestly reminded me a bit of Europe. Their cake selection was amazing too. I got a slice of their chocolate mixed cheesecake (I forgot the exact name), and it came with high-quality chocolate chunks — so rich and delicious. I couldn’t even finish it alone! I didn’t try their food or coffee this time, but they do serve both. And even though the space is small, they have a good amount of indoor seating. It felt so warm and welcoming — a tiny spot that gives you a really great experience!
This business was my daily stop for coffee and a pastry before my train ride to the city from their humble beginnings in a small building in downtown Grayslake. They baked all the cakes for our kids birthday parties. I’ve moved out of state, but I visit Somethings Brewing every time I’m back! Their success has been hard earned and they just get better and better over time. Love, love, love this business. Stop in and feast your eyes on the amazing selection of treats and coffees!
